These tree roots create a triangular shape and caught my eye. This tree was burned down in a forest fire many decades ago and after falling over, the weather has cleared off all the dirt and debree and left behind a natural piece of art. The setting sun really helped bring out the colors. This was photographed in Roosevelt National Forest, west of Red Feather Lakes in Colorado.
