Description
This turkey was photographed in the late afternoon as the sun was starting to set. The angle of the sun shining on the feathers made this turkey shine with colors of the rainbow. Wild turkeys have a lot of color in their feathers, which often doesn't show up until the light shines on them at just the right angle. This image was taken in the river bottoms of north-east Colorado near Kersey.
