This cottontail rabbit was hiding under a trailer near the riverbottom in Kersey, Colorado. I snuck up got near ground level to get this shot. The rabbit was starting to get a little nervous here, as you can see in its eye. It wasn't sure if it had been seen or not so it kept still and tried to continue hiding. When looking at a close-up of the eye, I can see my reflection. I took a few pics and walked off so it would know it was safe and could continue to hang out in its hiding place.
