Description
This large bull elk was photographed in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado. He had a small herd of cows nearby and was bugling at another bull to keep it away from his herd. This bull elk had a fight with another large bull earlier in the day and has some gouges and hair missing on his right front leg and body. Even with the new injuries, he was still protecting his remaining herd and was walking around like nothing happened.
